Ernest in 'Rodents and the Postal System'
"Anti-Smoking Ad" Jim Varney, 1949-2000 Jim would visit hospitals, and entertain sick children in his "Ernest" persona. Varney died of lung cancer on February 10, 2000 at 4:45 am in his White House home as the movie Ernest the Pirate neared completion. This is one of many great commercials made back in the 80s starring yours truly, Ernest P. Worrell.
